The supermodels made surprise cameos at "Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live."

When she's not reigning as the (legally unofficial) Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey moonlights as the Queen of Extra. Because as an old school diva, dammit, somebody's gotta do it.

During a performance of her Las Vegas residency, Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live, this weekend, the rainbow charm bracelet-wearing butterfly enlisted the help of some professional glamazons for a few "touch ups" onstage: supermodels Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum.

Banks and Klum made surprise cameos while Carey was performing her 2006 hit "Say Somethin'," each wearing Mimi-inspired silk robes that they later handed out to a couple lucky audience members.

"Thank you so much gorgeous @heidiklum and @tyrabanks for volunteering to be my super glam squad for the night!" Carey wrote on Instagram on Monday. "Thanks for being such great sports!"

The Celebration of Mimi opened at Vegas' Dolby Live at the Park MGM on April 12 and chronicles the record-breaking singer-songwriter's life story and musical journey. That journey includes 19 No. 1 hits (18 self-penned, thank you) and more than 200 million albums sold.

Carey's Vegas show, which has been sold out since opening night, runs through April 27. She'll return for eight more newly-added dates in July and August.

Like Usher before her, Carey's superstar residency will no doubt bring out any number of famous friends and fans whom, we can only hope, will immediately be reduced to Mariah's staff. Because, again, somebody's gotta do it.
