Heather Rae El Moussa is standing up to social media trolls.

The real estate agent recently shared a video of herself dancing as she holds Tristan, her 14-month-old son she shares with husband Tarek El Moussa, with a message directed at her critics.

“Imagine hating at me and I’m just at home like…,” reads text over the sweet clip, which she posted on Instagram April 30.

Also included in the video are screenshots of nasty comments she’s received. “Funny how pathetic she sounds,” reads one message, while another calls her look “Trashy.” Someone else accuses her of acting "so phony."

“Unbothered 💁🏼‍♀️,” Heather wrote in the accompanying caption.

“Social media can be a double-edged sword; while it offers connectivity and community, it also presents a platform for comparison and negativity,” she continued. “However, your perspective and how you engage with it is so important. I hope you guys don’t have to deal with this, but if you have I’m sending you all the love.💌”

Heather has been focused on a new chapter of her career with her and Tarek’s HGTV show, The Flipping El Moussas. She's also been celebrating Tristan's milestones, revealing in April that her baby boy had stood up for the first time.

Last month, she reflected on leaving Selling Sunset, calling the experience of being a cast member “toxic.”

“It was a blessing that I wasn’t asked to come back because I’m so much happier filming my show with Tarek,” said Heather, who was a series regular up until season 7 of the Netflix docusoap. “We’re co-producers on our show so we pick the hours. With Selling Sunset, I never knew when I was going to be filming. It was last minute, it took over my life, it was hard to do my real job — real estate. It was hard to do anything else.”

She shared that there were days she “came home crying,” and Tarek added, “every day.”

“It was crazy. They just want more and more and more and you saw me on the show,” she continued. “I pretty much was level-headed almost the whole time. I was kind of friends with everyone and I kept things pretty chill in my life.”

“Yeah, it’s very toxic,” she added. “You’re around a bunch of women that everyone wants to be stars on the show, you know, number one. And they’ll kind of do anything.”

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in November 2023, the HGTV star said she didn’t miss the tension surrounding the Selling Sunset cast.

"I love being able to prioritize my family and my happiness and step away from some of the drama that Selling Sunset brought into my life," she said.

"But I can just film with my husband now, drama-free," she added. "I mean, the drama's in the houses, it's not with the people. And that is so incredible that I don't have to worry about fighting with a girl if I go to work."
