Heather Rae El Moussa Claps Back at Mom-Shamers in the Cutest Way: ‘Unbothered’

Mom-shamers never take a break, but Heather Rae El Moussa doesn’t care. She called out the haters in a new video with her 15-month-old son Tristan, who she shares with husband Tarek El Moussa, and it’s an adorable reminder to focus on the important things in life.
The video on Instagram begins with screenshots of hateful comments that the Selling Sunset star has received. Some of these rude missives include things like “trashy,” “pathetic,” “annoying,” “drama,” and “disgusting.” Ugh! These people are acting so rude, and for what? If you don’t like Heather Rae’s content just keep scrolling.

After she fills the screen with rude comments, they suddenly disappear to show a cozy scene at home. Heather Rae is wearing pajamas and holding Tristan on her hip as she cooks a can of soup on the stove. “Imagine hating on me and I’m just at home like …” she wrote over the video. As she stirs, Heather Rae dances to music and bounces Tristan up and down to keep him happy. A multi-tasking queen!
“Unbothered 💁🏼♀️,” Heather Rae wrote in the caption. “Social media can be a double-edged sword; while it offers connectivity and community, it also presents a platform for comparison and negativity. However, your perspective and how you engage with it is so important. I hope you guys don’t have to deal with this, but if you have I’m sending you all the love.💌”
Heather Rae is continuing to focus on the positives, and she took to Instagram to share another sweet update. This time, it was full of photos of Tristan, including one with him cuddling on his mom’s hip, one of him playing with bubbles, and a couple of him playing in the sand at the beach.
“Mom life has taken over a lot of my time but I truly couldn’t be more grateful,” she wrote in the caption. “Nothing like spending this sweet time with my Tristan Bear. I didn’t realize how much my life was going to change in the best way when I became a Mom.”

“Being a step-mom has been such a blessing and warmed me up,” she continued, referring to Tarek’s kids Brayden, 8, and Taylor, 13, who he shares with ex Christina Hall. “Having Tristan changed me in ways I never expected and brought a whole new meaning to life. 🧸🤍”
