Headwaters Music and Arts

will host its monthly Open Mic and CoffeeHouse event at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at Headwaters, 519 MN Ave. NW.

The monthly community gathering offers a friendly open mic opportunity and welcoming environment for folks to listen, perform and mingle with fellow open mic attendees.

Debbie Center will grace the stage as the featured performer of the evening. She will be playing her original piano music inspired by the wildlife, scenery and northern lights of her beloved home in Nevis, Minnesota. Sign-up for the Open Mic begins at 6:30 p.m. or by email to

jjhgaard@gmail.com.

Held on the first Friday of most months, the Headwaters Open Mic and CoffeeHouse offers a welcoming and supportive community for musicians and spoken-word performers. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10- to 15-minute set.

Admission is $4 per person or $10 for families. Coffee and treats are available for purchase courtesy of Apple Blossom Village in partnership with Starbucks.
