Harris Reed Named New Creative Director of Nina Ricci

Nina Ricci has appointed Harris Reed as its new creative director.

The designer, known for his buzzy fashion moments with stars like Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, Iman and more, will join the French house, which is currently run under the Spanish group Puig. The 26-year-old is now the youngest designer to helm the brand and will be showcasing his first collection in early 2023.

The announcement comes after Nina Ricci's previous art directors Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter -- the duo behind Botter -- departed the label in January. "I am honored to be joining the house of Nina Ricci, with its treasure chest full of glamour, history and power ready to be explored. I am truly excited to challenge the landscape of what femininity means across fashion and beauty in such an iconic house," Reed shared in a statement.

Having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2020, the designer is known for his gender-fluid designs, while Nina Ricci, founded in 1932, is renowned for its fragrances as well as its lingerie-like gowns.
