This is the happy (and generous) way that Kristen Bell spent her birthday

Kristen Bell had a fabulous 38th birthday.

Her family — which includes her husband, Dax Shepard, and their daughters, 5-year-old Lincoln and Delta, 3 — showered her with gifts, as the Good Place actress shared on social media.

Her girls made sure that she was styled for the day with a fun hairdo. Someone also hooked her up with a yummy-looking breakfast sandwich. It appears that Lincoln was solely responsible for Bell’s handwritten birthday note.

In a separate message to followers, Bell explained while wearing a birthday crown, as one does, that the only thing she wanted for her birthday was “a peaceful feeling.” She included a copy of a hefty donation she made to a GoFundMe campaign supporting Immigrant Families Together, a movement to reunite parents and children who’ve been separated by the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy.

I dont need anything for my birthday. But there are alot of things I want.😘

Since birthdays last only one day, though, she is scheduled to be back at work at least by Saturday, when she’ll join Ted Danson and other cast members at one of the many must-see panels at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego.
