On May 20, Dobrev revealed on Instagram that she had been in a motorbike accident and had been taken to a hospital.
The Vampire Diaries actress shared two photos of herself on the social media platform. In one, she is straddling her motorbike, while in the second, she is on a hospital bed, with braces covering her neck and knee. “How it started vs how it’s going,” she wrote in the caption.
Dobrev didn’t provide further details on the incident, though she assured her fans that she was alright in an update on her Instagram stories. “I’m OK but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” she posted.
