Halle Berry's son won't be seeing her new movie anytime soon.

The actress, 57, who stars in the new horror film Never Let Go, appeared at 2024 CinemaCon and spoke with Extra about whether she'll let her two kids — daughter Nahla Ariela, 16, and son Maceo-Robert, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Olivier Martinez — see the movie.

"My 16-year-old, yeah," Berry says. "My son would have nightmares for a very long time, so no. I mean, he saw a trailer of a scary movie and it took us a year to get him to go to bed by himself, so he won't be seeing it."

However, the mom of two thinks that her daughter will "like this."

Continuing to speak about her film Never Let Go, the actress revealed the one thing that she never plans to let go of: "My kids."

"I learned that from this movie," she adds. "My children are my most valued treasures."

In February, Berry scored major mom points after her son Maceo-Robert met David Beckham at Inter Miami's game against the LA Galaxy.

"Thank you @mls & @davidbeckham for making my son's dream come true and for giving me some extra 'cool mom' points 🤍⚽️," wrote Berry next to photos from the game on Instagram.

In one snap, Berry smiled as she wrapped her arm around Maceo-Robert's shoulder. Another photo showed Beckham conversing with the preteen and a fellow fan.

During a 2021 appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Berry said that her kids are "comfortable" with her relationship with her boyfriend, Van Hunt. Her son even held an impromptu "commitment ceremony" for them.

"This was a ceremony by an 8-year-old in the back seat of the car who said, 'Mom, you should get married to him.' I said, 'Really, I should marry to him?' " Berry asked.

"He said, 'Yeah, I pronounce you man and wife.' So we're like, 'Oh, okay. We're married!' But we're not married," Berry said. "So that's our commitment ceremony. It's silly. It's sweet."
