Hailey Bieber Just Wore the Beachiest Braids at Coachella — Here's How to Achieve the Boho Vibe

Is it just me, or has Hailey Bieber been kind of totally killing it in the hair game lately, esp. in the braid category? I mean, her last braid look at the Grammys left us speechless (ICYMI, you can find the silky gown and hair combo in this Instagram post), but she's truly outdone herself with her latest 'do from Coachella.

First off, the lewk, created by hairstylist to the stars and Dyson Hair ambassador Irinel de León has lots of shine and texture happening. See those subtle glossy waves? What a beach babe moment for Mrs. Bieber! The vibe is 100% festival perfection and super complementary to Hailey's blue under-eye liner makeup done by Leah Darcy.

While we love Hailey's overall wavy tresses that cascade down her shoulders, the real star of the party is the four voluminous mini-braids which are totally on-trend. We've seen fashion girlie Kendall Jenner and pop icon Dua Lipa sporting similar styles in recent posts on the 'gram.

Of course, we needed to recreate the Y2K-esque style IMMEDIATELY, so we turned to Hailey's stylist Irinel right away. Here's how she did Hailey's Coachella hair.

How to create Hailey Bieber's Coachella 2022 hairstyle

  1. Prep dry hair by using a liquid texture spray of your liking. Then, Irinel suggests diffusing using the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer with the diffuser attachment on low speed and heat.

  2. Prep dry hair with a little hairspray throughout.

  3. Using the Dyson Corrale Straightener, (or any straightener of your choice) take small sections and create random bends in the hair by beveling back and forth, making sure the Corrale is diagonal to give a more natural effect.

  4. Spray a texturizing hairspray throughout and break up bends by butterflying hair. To do this, take sections of hair with fingertips and shake by releasing little by little. Continue throughout.

  5. Finish by adding baby braids (2 on each side) and stopping midway. Secure with clear rubber band.
