Gwen Stefani Pays Tribute to No Doubt With Her Coachella Nail Set

Gwen Stefani is the OG '90s beauty inspiration; from her various colorful hairstyles to skinny brows and face gems. For Coachella, Stefani reunited with her original band No Doubt for the first time in over a decade and fully embraced the nostalgic '90s vibes.

She took the stage wearing a full plaid and fishnet-cut ensemble straight out of a throwback music video. For glam, the singer took a page out of her own beauty playbook and revived her face gem makeup looks with her signature bold red lip. Her hair was in a space bun, mohawk updo that played into the punk rock style.

The best part of the singer's look was her throwback nail set, which featured the band's name across her fingers. Her manicure was created by nail artist Eri Ishizu, who explained that "Gwen’s request was punk rock to match her outfit. She specifically chose that yellow that’s very punk rock," in a statement.

Stefani's set features a yellow, black, white and red plaid design on a French tip with red 3D hearts, very reminiscent of the '90s airbrushed nail styles. Ishizu used Aprés nail products to create the manicure, including Aprés Gel Couleur in the colors "Lemon Squeezy" and "Fire Island." Additionally the nail artist used the brand's French Manicure Gel in the colors "French White" and "French Black" and the Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat. The brand's Chaun Legend x Aprés Gel-X Tips in the "Sculpted Square" shape and "Extra Extra Long" length were used to create the base of the style.
