Quinta Brunson may be playing a funny teacher on the hit show Abbott Elementary, but outside of her role there, she will rise to the occasion when the time calls for glam. Her latest red carpet appearance cemented how stunning she is with her debut of a slicked and blunt high ponytail.

At the LACMA Art and Film Gala, she served Black Hollywood glamour with her tea-green sweetheart gown, effortless makeup and tightly wound blunt ponytail. Crafted by hairstylist Alexander Armand, Brunson's ponytail sat high at the crown of her head, with a section of the base wrapped with extra hair to conceal the attachment and hold the choppy pony in place. The bluntness of the ends that grazed her bare shoulders and the faux side bang makes the entire look stand out. Makeup artist Renée Loiz kept the makeup light and sweet with a subtle pink glittery eyeshadow, sharp winged liner and a fleshy-toned lip gloss to sheen her pout.

We're not surprised at the sartorial greatness going on for Brunson. We look forward to the moments when the star shows up and shows out. Who says you can't have brains, beauty and humor?
