After receiving mixed reviews for Gran Turismo Sport, the upcoming numbered entry should mark a return to form for the series, offering stunning next-gen graphics, dynamic time and weather systems and a reworked campaign that’ll put your driving skills to the test.

Upgrading From PS4 to PS5 Isn’t Free

Earlier this year, Sony announced that Horizon Forbidden West would be the last game to offer free upgrades from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5. That means anyone who picks up Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 will need to drop $10 to upgrade to a next-gen version of the game.

Of course, you can still play your PS4 copy of Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 without upgrading, but you’ll be missing out on all the fancy graphical enhancements. Also, keep in mind that physical versions of Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 require a PS5 console with a disc drive to upgrade – meaning your PS4 disc can’t be upgraded to run on the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.
