On November 14, the Netflix actress showed up to the Los Angeles Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery premiere in a sheer champagne-colored dress embellished with multicolored sequins in shades of nude, bronze and gold. The high-neck backless gown included floor-length sleeves and a form-fitting silhouette adorned with large silver sequins.
She finished off her look with a sleek bun and tiny jeweled earrings. As for her makeup, she donned a light pink lip and subtle smoky eye. After the eventful night, Kate posted about it on Instagram with the caption, "✨About last night ✨."
Reacting to her glitzy look, Kate's celebrity friends couldn't stop themselves from gushing over it in her comments section. "YOU LOOK STUNNING!!!," Camilla McConaughey wrote. "WOW!!!!!!! Kate is just one of the many familiar faces in the Glass Onions cast, which is a sequel to the 2019 murder mystery comedy Knives Out. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days alum plays Birdie Jay, a model-turned-fashion designer who is a guest of tech billionaire Miles Bron (Ed Norton) on a getaway to his private Greek island — which quickly turns deadly.
The movie will be the first Netflix movie to debut across three U.S. theater chains — AMC, Regal and Cinemark, according to the streamer. It will be playing in select theaters from November 23 through November 29. It will then be available on Netflix starting December 23.
