Gisele Bündchen’s Emotional Run-in With the Cops Is as Frustrating as It Is Heartbreaking

Earlier this week, a clip of Gisele Bündchen being pulled over by the police got some attention online. But what surprised everyone in the video wasn’t her being pulled over, but her crying and wiping away her tears instead.

A day after, on April 25, body cam footage obtained by WPLG Local 10 revealed what really happened between the supermodel and the Surfside P.D. officer. After rolling down the window, Bündchen explained that her traffic infraction only happened because she was “trying to get away from that guy,” she said, referring to the paparazzi who were chasing her.

The officer, however, is not as helpful as she expected. “There’s nothing I can do about that,” he said, adding that he’d “give you a courtesy” and not give her a ticket.

“Thank you, I was just trying to stay away from that guy,” she reiterated. “I understand who you are,” the officer responded. “There’s nothing I can do about that.”

Getting no help, Bündchen then continued to stress how serious the situation was. “But he’s like stalking me,” she said. As a reminder, Bündchen lives in Miami with her kids Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11.

Giving his first useful piece of information, the officer then tells the Brazilian model to “file a report with Miami Beach, because it was coming from Miami Beach.”

After looking up at the paparazzi once more, she begins to cry. “I’m so tired, everywhere I go I have these f– guys after me,” she said. “Nothing protects me. I can’t do nothing. I just want to live my life!”

“I can’t prevent them from doing their job which is taking pictures,” the office responded, to which Bündchen seemed to chuckle. “I don’t know how this is allowed,” she added.

Online, people seem to have mixed feelings over this hard-to-watch clip. “I get that celebrities give up a piece of their privacy, but no one should be chased in a car putting them and everyone on the road in danger,” wrote one X user. “Some laws should be passed against that to protect public safety.”

“Sorry, not sorry it’s the price of fame,” wrote another user. “You traded your beauty which made you rich and famous you married an even more famous person and you live in a very exclusive neighborhood.”

Sure, having paparazzi after you come with fame, but being stalked and endangered surely doesn’t. Our hearts go out to Bündchen and her family right now, we just hope they’re safe!
