Not only is Taylor Swift a singer and songwriter, but she's also a painter.

Norwegian pop-rock musician Girl in Red, who opened for Swift on several North American dates of the Eras Tour last year, opened up to NME in a recent interview about receiving handmade paintings from the pop superstar in a sweet gift exchange.

"That was right after my first album came out and she reposted my album, and I was like, what the hell? That’s insane," recalled Girl in Red, 25, whose real name is Marie Ulven Ringheim, referencing her 2021 debut, If I Could Make It Go Quiet.

"I sent her my album as a thank you, and she emailed me being like, ‘Oh my God, you sent me your album. I was just about to order it, that’s so kind of you.’ Then she was like, I want to send you something," she said of Swift, 34, whose 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, drops April 19.

"She sent me some paintings and her vinyl, which I already had, but she’s just a gem, and she’s a very beautiful person," added Girl in Red of the "Bejeweled" performer.

"[Swift] made those paintings, and I got them framed, and I got them hung up because it’s her little flowers and my lyrics on there," she explained. "It’s a very cute little thing."

After opening for the Eras Tour last summer, Girl in Red reflected on the "really weird experience" performing to stadium crowds in an interview with DIY earlier this month.

"You just try to brace yourself for whatever’s coming. It’s not like I’ve never played a show — I’ve done 200-plus gigs. But mentally, it’s different," she told the outlet.

"It was 100% the coolest opportunity I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m so grateful to Taylor for thinking of some Norwegian girl she listened to. That’s really sick," added Girl in Red. "She didn’t have to do that, but she did. That’s why she is where she is."
