Gigi Hadid Pokes Fun at Ryan Reynolds Over Wearing Her Brand: ‘You Will Never Look Like Blake in It’

Gigi Hadid appreciates Ryan Reynolds’ support of her brand — but she's poking a little fun at him, too!

The model, 28, took a cheeky moment to tease Reynolds, 47, on Instagram Stories on April 12 after wearing an item from her clothing line Guest in Residence as she joked that his wife Blake Lively looked better in the garments.

Hadid reposted a photo originally shared by the Deadpool actor as he sat indoors modeling a pink Everywear cardigan from the brand, retailing at $566.79.

She began by thanking Reynolds for his support of her brand, writing in the caption, “@vancityreynolds Thank you mostly because we collectively, as a team, geek out every time you wear GIR.”

“You will never look like Blake in it … but you know this,” Hadid continued. “And I find you a more useful friend of the brand because you love trying all the new pieces and she’s been wearing the same shirt from two winters ago through every season … ” She ended, poking fun at Lively, 36, also.

“Cc @blakelively your spring package is on the way,” Hadid added, urging to the actress, “Please try a cotton blend.”

Hadid is close friends with Reynolds and Lively, with the trio spotted enjoying a night out together in September 2023, while joined by pals Taylor Swift, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum at Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato in New York City.

In recent months, Reynolds has continued to show support for the model’s clothing line GIR, posting looks on Instagram.

In December 2023, the actor modeled another outfit from the knitwear brand in an Instagram Stories snap. Reynolds posed for a mirror selfie as he wore a dark gray tweed work shirt from Hadid's collection, retailing at $793, layered over a white t-shirt as he sported black-framed glasses.

“My friend @gigihadid makes damn nice clothes,” Reynolds wrote in the caption at the time as he tagged Hadid’s clothing brand.

Hadid, 28, reposted Reynold’s photo again, responding in a caption, “I like my friends cozy ! ! ! Thank u brother 🥹.”

Hadid has also been supported by Bradley Cooper — the pair first sparked romance rumors in October 2023 and have been pictured together multiple times since — who has been spotted rocking various pieces from her clothing line these past few months, often while the two have been out and about together.
