GEN V Will Not Recast Chance Perdomo’s Role as Andre Anderson

The recent death of Gen V actor Chance Perdomo stunned his fans and co-workers. Perdomo, known for his starring role as Andre Anderson on the Prime Video series set in The Boys universe, died at the age of 27 following a motorcycle accident. The cast was set to reunite and begin table reads for Gen V season two the same day as his accident. Until now, it wasn’t clear how the series would move forward in light of this tragic loss. Gen V’s producers have confirmed that they will not recast Chance Perdomo’s role as Andre Anderson.

The team released a statement to the show’s social pages. They affirm that everyone wants to find a way to respect Chance Perdomo’s memory and are working to recraft the storylines for Gen V season two. The show will begin production in May.
