He’ll oversee development of new series and play an active role within Fremantle’s global scripted network, reporting to Fremantle’s EVP of Scripted Programming, Jenni Sherwood.

At His Dark Materials and Industry producer Bad Wolf, he has been Vice President of Development in the States. During six years with the company, he worked across a global project slate, while selling series to cable, broadcast and streaming platforms.

Prior to Bad Wolf, Boone was Manager of Global Scripted Development at Entertainment One Television. He has also worked as an indie producer, developing and selling film and television projects in Australia & New Zealand, the U.S. and the UK.

“As our U.S. scripted portfolio continues to grow both domestically and globally, we are excited to have Jeff join our team,” said Sherwood. “Jeff’s experience and impeccable reputation compliments Fremantle’s creative collective of visionary talent who are developing and producing much of the world’s most exciting television.”

RTL Group-owned Fremantle, best known for entertainment formats such as Got Talent and X Factor, has been active in scripted for several years now.
