Directed by Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), Flesh of the Gods is an upcoming vampire thriller film. Set in Los Angeles in the ’80s, the plot revolves around a married couple whose plans for the night take a sybaritic turn after they encounter an enigmatic individual called Nameless. Flesh of the Gods’ release date could arrive sometime in 2025.

Flesh of the Gods is the second Cosmatos project currently in development, the other being A24’s Nekrokosm. Andrew Kevin Walker penned the screenplay from a story by him and Cosmatos. “Like Los Angeles itself, Flesh of the Gods inhabits the liminal realm between fantasy and nightmare,” Cosmatos explained in a statement, as per Variety. “Both propulsive and hypnotic, Flesh will take you on a hot rod joy ride deep into the glittering heart of hell,” he added.

The production will reportedly begin later in 2024. If things go according to plans, Flesh of the Gods can premiere sometime in 2025.

Where is Flesh of the Gods coming out?

Flesh of the Gods is anticipated to come out in theaters sometime in 2025.

The movie will likely have its world premiere at one of the major film festivals before releasing in theaters. CAA Media Finance and WME Independent are handling the domestic distribution rights to Flesh of the Gods, whereas XYZ Films is set to introduce the film at the iconic Marché du Film at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
