Finn Balor isn’t going anywhere.

WWE star Finn Balor took to Twitter on April 22 and thanked WWE for an incredible 10 years. He wrote that he had decided that it was the right time to say that he was not going anywhere.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) then reported that Balor was expected to sign a long-term contract extension with the company, if he hadn’t already. His deal was set to expire in the next few months.

Per Sapp, WWE wanted to sign Balor to a multi-year, big-money offer. The report notes that he was expected to have “major interest” outside of the company. Sapp reports that AEW is looking to sign potential free agents this summer. and his name was on the list of talent they were keeping an eye on.

Finn Balor has been with WWE since 2014. He is the inaugural Universal Champion and a two-time NXT Champion. He has also held the Intercontinental and United States titles. Balor has had two reigns with the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships as well. In recent years, he has been featured as a member of the Judgment Day.
