'FBI' Renewed for 3 Seasons, But Will Everyone Be Back?

If you love FBI, you're going to love this news. The flagship series of CBS' FBI franchise has been renewed for not one, not two, but three seasons! That means it's running through at least 2027, giving us all something to look forward to for years to come. FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted have also been renewed, but only for the 2024-2025 season so far.

FBI is set in the New York City field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and follows agents in the criminal division. It's currently in its sixth season, and if CBS has its way, it'll be around through Season 9. It's not like a show about the FBI is ever going to run out of story!

“The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, in a statement along with the renewal news. “Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”

In Season 6, the team has dealt with multiple losses. Agent Trevor Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) was shot by a Somali activist in the season premiere, and guest agent Jessica Blake (Charlotte Sullivan), a close friend of Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym), was killed off a few episodes in, leaving her daughter behind for Maggie to raise. So what's next for the hit drama? Here's everything we know, including release date timeframe and cast predictions.
