The FBI Washington Field Office on September 8 released new video of and information on the suspect who planted pipe bombs around the Capitol Hill area on January 5, the night before the January 6 attack on the Capitol Building.

The suspect planted two pipe bombs, according to the FBI, one in an alley behind the Republican National Committee Headquarters, and the other next to a park bench near the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Headquarters.

The new information includes a virtual map that highlights the route the suspect walked while placing the two bombs between about 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm, the FBI said in a statement.
