How 'FBI: Most Wanted' Began Its 2-Show Crossover With 'FBI'

Being new parents sure is taking its toll on Nina and Scola. FBI: Most Wanted and FBI launched the beginning of their crossover this week as Most Wanted took a trip home with Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) and her FBI boyfriend Stuart Scola (John Boyd). Their baby, Douglas, is beyond adorable and has a capable nanny, but things are awry in the Chase/Scola household. According to Scola, Nina has gone overboard with the parenting, and their infant son has way too much stuff for a boy his size. Scola says a baby just needs to be fed and changed and put down for naps. Easy! (Cue groans from every parent ever.)

Their fight sent Nina off to work in a bad mood, and it didn't help that she was working a case in which a bunch of small children got poisoned by fentanyl. One 5-year-old even died from exposure to the dangerous painkiller, and one of the suspects was a mother looking for revenge for the death of her son.

After arrests were made, Nina was driving home with Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) when she got a text from Scola saying he'd be home late. She worried he was avoiding her, and that maybe he was right about having too much baby stuff, including three different strollers. Barnes suggested she was overcompensating for not growing up with her own mother.

Later, Nina waited up for Scola to get home, and told him he was right. Luckily for anyone who was about to get pretty mad, he also apologized for the way he handled the situation. They ended the episode laughing in bed together, and the fight appeared to be over. The crossover, however, goes on!

On next week's episode of FBI, Nina will join Scola in an undercover op. They will pose as a married couple in a case that involves a security guard being killed over millions of dollars in diamonds, and naturally the whole thing will make the pair think about the dangers of two parents with extremely risky jobs. The episode airs Tuesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
