In case you forgot, reading is sexy. And Jenna Bush Hager is reminding the world of that with her first-ever thirst trap. The co-host promised to get in touch with her sensual side for the camera when Today with Hoda and Jenna hit one million followers on Instagram, and boy, did she deliver.

For the shoot, the former first daughter dressed up as a sexy librarian, posing in bold-framed glasses with a book, all the while on live TV—no big deal! Hoda Kotb helped her achieve the iconic wind-blown look by standing with a hairdryer close-by. 😂Not only was the whole process extremely entertaining to watch, but the end result photos were pretty incredible, and the fans couldn’t get enough.

“Jenna you Nailed it! 😍😍You go girl you’re so funny you were cracking up,” one person commented. “THIS WAS EVERYTHING LOLOL,” another added. “Icons!🔥🔥🔥,” someone else wrote.

Hager shared the shots on her own Instagram, writing: “Reading is sexy. #mamasfirsttrap could only have been done with @hodakotb on the blow dryer.” More comments of adoration poured in. “I am obsessed,” one person wrote. “I don’t know what’s happening but I like it 🔥,” another commented. On the following day’s Hoda and Jenna segment, the pair discussed the fiery reaction the photos received. And Hager was slightly embarrassed to admit that her sister, Barbara Bush and her mom, Laura Bush (who was an actual librarian) were a bit confused by the whole thing.

“I didn't bring it up,” Hager said. “They both wanted to know why I was dressed up as a sexy librarian.”

On the other hand, her husband Henry Hager was all about the photos. (Shocker!) “He wrote me and said, ‘Maybe we should try this later, Hoda’s not invited,’” Jenna revealed. “And then he said, ‘P.S. no offense Hodes!’”

Kotb got a laugh out of that, and took her own moment to compliment Hager’s confidence. “You know what I love about you, you are such—you play,” she said. “I don’t think we actually play enough.” It’s true, the mom of two just had fun with it, and it totally worked.

It also helps that she’s feeling good in her own skin after finding her fitness groove. “People have noticed there’s like a transformation happening with you,” Kotb told her on a recent episode of their show. “[Viewers] are saying, ‘Jenna’s looking amazing. She’s never looked this good.’”

Jenna thanked her. “I think I’ve figured out what kind of works for me,” she said. “The difference is, I wake up before the show and workout. And I really workout.”

You know what they say, confidence is anyone’s most attractive asset. And that definitely seems to be the case for Jenna.
