JFK and Jackie Kennedy’s firstborn grandchild, Rose Schlossberg might be far more discreet than other members of her dynasty family but that doesn’t mean she’s not continuing the family legacy in her own way.

Aside from one controversial Kennedy, the famous family has kept a relatively low profile since the death of Jackie Kennedy in 1994 but that hasn’t eliminated the fascination with America’s answer to the British Royal Family. The younger generation of Kennedys is hard to gather information about and one child in particular is often considered a bit of an enigma. Known, mainly, for her striking resemblance to her style-icon grandmother, Rose largely avoids the spotlight but we have learned some details about her life, job and relationship over the years.

Rose Schlossberg is the eldest grandchild of John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy, and the firstborn daughter of Caroline Kennedy and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg. She was born in 1988 and is an older sister to Tatiana, born in 1990, and Jack, born in 1993, both of whom are a little more public than Rose is. Tatiana is now a journalist and author while Jack is a lawyer who has cultivated a large following on social media. As the children of JFK and Jackie’s only surviving child, these three are carrying on a pretty major legacy.

Born and raised in New York City, Rose has been moving in some pretty elite circles from a young age and is even friends with some well-known stars.

Rose is mostly known as this: being the spitting image of Jackie Kennedy — borderline looking like her doppelgänger. Seriously, they look like twins when you put photos side by side. It’s almost spooky. But there’s a lot more to Rose than how similar she looks to her late grandmother.

Despite staying out of the limelight the past few decades, she’s given fans some scraps of information about herself here and there. She might be the firstborn of JFK’s grandkids but arguably the most low-key of the bunch — which makes us want to know more.

From her acting gigs to her wife, check out everything we know about Jackie Kennedy’s lookalike granddaughter, Rose Schlossberg. (Here’s a hint: she’s pretty darn awesome.)

Along with being her lookalike, Rose Schlossberg and her grandmother Jacqueline “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis had a close bond before her passing.

According to The New York Post, Kennedy biographer Christopher Andersen claimed Jackie doted on her first grandchild during her early years.

“Jackie, who lived just a few blocks away from the Schlossbergs on the Upper East Side, saw Rose basically every day,” said Andersen. Jackie would reportedly take Rose to playgrounds and the Met, across the street from the former first lady’s NYC apartment.

“Jackie knew it was important to sow the seeds of good behavior early on, and she tried to do that in the final years of her life. It was a mission for her,” Andersen said.
