(WJW) — Outspoken Michigan rapper Eminem recently took to social media to share yet another personal tidbit about his life: He’s now been sober for 16 years.

Here are the 2024 Rock Hall inductees

He posted a photo of himself a holding a 16 year sobriety chip, letting the power of it shine through with no accompanying text.

The 51-year-old controversial artist who topped the charts during the late 1990s and early 2000s, has been up front about his addiction issues over the years, highlighting the topic in various songs. He told Rolling Stone that he struggled with taking Ambien, Valium and Vicodin from 2002 to 2008.

Back in 2020, the Rock Hall inductee also known as Marshall Mathers, posted a similar photo, touting a 12-year chip.

“Clean dozen, in the books! I’m not afraid,” he said along with the previous post.
