Scott D’Amore was the former President of TNA Wrestling. Shortly after the company was bought by Anthem, he was terminated from the Nashville-based promotion. There have been several wrestlers who voiced out their frustrations about their former Head Booker’s termination. Recently, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards also shared his thoughts on Scott D’Amore.

During a recent appearance at the K & S Wrestlefest for a Virtual Signing, Eddie Edwards opened up about Scott D’Amore and his departure from TNA Wrestling. Edwards claimed that losing D’Amore was like losing a father.

“Scott (D’Amore) was TNA too. He breathed it, bled it, that’s all he did so, losing him and he’s a great friend and it was like losing a father in a divorce type thing. That’s the best way to compare it. It was a shock, a lot of change but, in the end with the group that we have, we all know what we have to do. We go out there in the ring and we do our job and that’s what we love to do, it’s what we believe in, we all believe in the company and (in the) wrestling world, things change. You never know when someone’s gonna leave or come back or whatever so, Scott put so much into it. It’s much appreciated of course but, we’re doing what we do. We wanna survive and we wanna thrive. That’s the goal,” Eddie Edwards said. [H/T POST Wrestling]
