Dua Lipa Wore a Yellow Blazer as a Shirt and It’s Totally Bold
It might be January, but Dua Lipa is bringing the sunshine with her style. The singer spent the past year flying around the world for her multi-continent Future Nostalgia tour and continued her jet-setting this past week with a trip to Groningen, Netherlands. Based on her most recent Instagram post, let's just say that her European cool-girl fashion is *chef's kiss* perfection.
The Don't Stop Now singer proved that she deserves a place in the fashion ~Hall of Fame~ with the blazer-as-a-shirt moment that she just dropped on IG. Dua wore a long tweed jacket in the prettiest butter yellow shade as her shirt (all hail our bra-ditching queen!) and opted to secure it with a single button. The open blazer revealed a pair of high-waisted jeans with a distressed look, artistically mended with silky white ribbons. And of course, no Dua 'fit is complete without an amazing pair of shoes — the singer kept things sharp with a pointed-toe slingback heel.
Dua wore her hair in a Tinkerbell-style bun with a swoop of side bangs pulled back to reveal impeccably sharp eyeliner and *blinding* highlighter. The singer wore several simple gold rings as well as a gold pendant necklace and small hoop earrings.
"First time back in Groningen, Netherlands for @esns.nl since 2016 but this time I came to proudly do a keynote with my dad @dukagjinlipa about our @sunnyhillfestival @sunnyhillfoundation 🌷🌷🌷 thank you @n1writer," Dua wrote in her caption.
Don't be fooled, though — despite her professional blazer slay, Dua hasn't ditched the crazy, over-the-top looks. The singer posted some eyebrow-raising snaps of herself posing (or stuck?) in the rafters of a house in a distressed leather jacket, multi-buckled boots, and an extra-long, butt-skimming braid with the caption "how did the kitten get stuck up a treeeeeeee *ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ*."
We're not sure how Dua got up there but we *will* be recreating the braid moment, the blazer look, and pretty much every other outfit Dua has ever worn — ASAP.
