Drew McIntyre: I Want To Face CM Punk, But I’m Worried He’s Made Of Glass

Drew McIntyre says he wants to face CM Punk, but he’s worried that Punk will get hurt again.

McIntyre and Punk clashed in some heated segments ahead of WWE Royal Rumble. Punk suffered a torn triceps in the Royal Rumble match, and McIntyre stomped on his injured arm on the following episode of RAW. He has repeatedly mocked Punk ever since.

Speaking with Gorilla Position, Drew McIntyre was asked about potentially facing CM Punk at WWE SummerSlam.

“Yeah, I just hope he’s careful,” Drew McIntyre said. “I’m worried he’s gonna injure something else during rehab. Man’s made of glass. I want that match, I really want that match. I’m just concerned for him. Especially wrestling someone like me. I’m a freaking monster in there.

When asked whether he was desperate for that match, McIntyre noted that he wanted it, and he said that he tore Punk to pieces when they clashed in the Royal Rumble match.
