Dolores Catania Was a Guest at Bridal Shower for Ex-husband Frank’s Future Wife

Dolores Catania is proof that not all fractured familial relationships on Real Housewives of New Jersey have to include high-pitched shouting matches, years-long cookie feuding, and/or complete estrangement!

She and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, have continued to stay close despite divorcing in the 90s. They each have new partners of their own, and Frank’s about to marry his fiancée, Brittany Mattessich.

Everyone is on such good terms that Dolores and a few of her RHONJ co-stars even attended Brittany’s recent bridal shower. Dolores shared with the bride-to-be on Instagram and expressed her excitement for the future Mr. and Mrs. Catania (2.0).

Dolores: “So excited” for Frank and Brittany

Frank and Dolores were married in 199 and had two kids – Gabby and Frankie Catania. They divorced in 1998 after Frank’s admitted infidelity took a toll. However, they’ve remained co-parents and friends ever since.

Dolores, who’s now been in a relationship with Paul Connell for a few years, shared her happiness for Frank and Brittany after they announced their engagement back in October 2023. The wedding must not be too far off, because Brittany’s bridal shower was just held at The Brownstone on Sunday, April 21.

Dolores was there to support. She posted a carousel of the event on Instagram, and captioned, “Had so much fun showering the beautiful bride-to-be…So excited for these two @frank.catania.sr& @missbrittyann. #wedding #rhonj #2024 #engagement #bridalshower #bravotv.”

Dolo posed for pics with the to-be-weds, her mom Valeria Spagnola, and her and Frank’s daughter, Gabby.

Melissa Gorga and Rachel Fuda were also in attendance and hit the comment section of Dolo’s post.

Rachel commented, “Happy Shower Day @missbrittyann…A toast to our Brit, who is almost a Bride! From fitness gear to bridal wear, I can’t wait to see your love story unfold.”

Even though we know there’s a fresh storm a-comin’ between others when RHONJ returns, seeing this kind of positivity and support is a fresh breath of Jersey air. Now, don’t fumble this bride, Frank!
