Doja Cat has words for parents who bring their kids to her concert, and the “Say So” singer is not holding back. And honestly … we can’t really say we blame the rapper for her recent internet tirade.

“idk what the f*ck you think this is but i don’t make music for children so leave your kids at home motherf*cker,” said on X.

She went on to ask followers why they’re bringing their “offspring” to her show where she’s rapping about … well, semen.

“PREACH,” one follower said.

And like … yeah. If there was ever a time to invest in a babysitter, it’s probably after investing in Doja Cat tickets. Or, as one follower said, leave the kids with the grandparents and put on Kidz Bop. Although, as one person joked, we were all sperm once. But that might not be the time or place for a sex ed lesson.

And while we hear what the followers who say that kids don’t understand the lyrics or that they hear it on TikTok anyway, we just can’t find it in ourselves to fight Doja Cat on this one. The “Paint The Town Red” singer has a fair point.

And even if the lyrics were more family-friendly, it still might not be the best place for kids. There are likely a lot of adults who are drinking or using drugs or having some PDA moments that Mom and Dad don’t want their kids exposed to. And how is that fun for parents to try and police the concert for their kids and those around them? Or for the other concertgoers who feel like they can’t enjoy themselves the way they want to because they see kids around.

Getting even more fired up, Doja Cat then tweeted about other explicit subjects addressed in her rap songs, ending the searing tweet with “leave your mistake at home*.”

“YOUR MISTAKE!” AHH! That’s where she may have lost people. While some people thought it was hilarious, others thought it was a step too far.

“Agree bringing kids to your show is not a good choice, but calling your fans’ children a mistake is so rude.”

It’s not clear what exactly prompted this Twitter-style TED Talk, but the thesis is sturdy … and we’re sure the performer would be willing to “get into it” with anyone else who has a problem with her stance.

These celebrity parents have shared hilarious (and relatable) stories about their kids and curse words.
