'Doggy Drag and Kitty Queens' Cinco de Mayo fundraiser to help Monmouth County SPCA

This event is for the birds. And the dogs and cats and gerbils and rabbits and guinea pigs and every other creature that finds itself under the care of the Monmouth County SPCA.

The SPCA will present another edition of its "Doggy Drag and Kitty Queens," a Cinco de Mayo celebration and benefit.

The event is set for 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at Georgies in Asbury Park and features back-to-back drag shows, with a buffet at intermission.

Hosted by Divinity Banks, the lineup includes Spectra Electra, Mimi Sashimi, Verona Velore, Ceemour, Bella Sky, Nikky Sky Blake, Jolina Jasmine, Crystal Envy, Cristal Sky and Sabrina Rondeau, with music by Mick Hale.

MCSPCA pet therapy animals also will be on hand … er, paw.
