Di Petsa's SS23 Collection Is an Ode to Earthly Healing Powers

Multi-faceted womenswear brand Di Petsa has debuted its Spring/Summer 2023 collection through an anticipated screening at London Fashion Week. The label, famously renowned for its signature "wet look" dress and exploration of womanhood and water, is now part of the official British Fashion Council NEWGEN schedule.

Di Petsa's ethereal pieces have become a worldwide symbol of self-acceptance and empowerment. The brand's approach to intimate design based on esoteric research continues to be explored through the collection's film titled "The Moon Tastes of Wine." Written and directed by Dimitra Petsa, the Greek-born designer and founder of the brand, the movie explores her subconscious, reflecting on the self and the creative process.

Always honoring our fluid state, the label's SS23 offers healing powers and earthly connections inspired by sacred womanhood and magical realism. "The inspiration you find from letting go, immersing yourself in the nature around you, and grounding in the belief to be present and connected to your body, your vessel and the water that contains it," reads the press release.

Imbued by the Dionysian mysteries of Ancient Greece, the SS23 collection frees the individual to return to a natural state. Di Petsa's signature draping, stitching and sheer combinations are revisited across the range, which includes loosely fitted garments, silk organza kaftans and gowns made from recycled mesh. The revitalizing pink, red and earthy hues perfectly balance the alluring night-time and minimal tones.

Healing rose quartz crystals and glass beads become one with the pieces as the delicate materials flow, representing the duality of the divine feminine form. The collection also unveils a new intricate hand-beaded textile made from semiprecious stones that offer personal healing and a reminder of the celestial female form.
