DAYS Spoilers: Steve Makes a Confession To Kayla

Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, April 8, remind viewers that Steve and Kayla are still a viable couple who can bring the drama when need be. Especially when Steve’s past rears its ugly head yet again.

The Man I Used To Be

Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) knew Steve (Stephen Nichols) was a bad boy when they first met. That was a big part of the appeal. She knew he worked for Victor (John Aniston), running drugs through Salem, and she knew he’d terrorized Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Kayla’s own sister, Kim (Patrica Pease).

But Steve reformed, and they lived happily ever after. Well, except for the decade when he was presumed dead. Kayla must have assumed it would be smooth sailing for the two of them from now on. But, wait, Steve still has something else to tell her!

Lock Up

Steve’s confession involves John (Drake Hogestyn), who is still reeling from learning that he killed people while working as a hired killer. He’s got some questions about brainwashing, so he turns to the resident expert — Harris (Steve Burton) — who also knows a thing or two about being forced to commit crimes against your will. And moving past it.

The Woman Between Us

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) trade notes on Theresa (Emily O’Brien), while Konstantin (John Kapelos) catches up with the woman of the hour to find out how their plan to get their hands on Alex’s money is going.

Theresa gets all noble about it, but she’s into the scheme up to her neck, and Konstantin knows it. She’s not wriggling off this hook. Konstantin also stands to lose all his hard-earned yet ill-gotten gains when Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes, who recently celebrated a family addition) gets Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) talking about the new man in her life.
