New date for ‘Meet Bluey and Bingo Day’ at Fresno Grizzlies after weekend rain

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A new date for the “Meet Bluey and Bingo Day” at the Fresno Grizzlies was announced on Thursday.

According to the Fresno Grizzlies, the day to meet Bluey and Bingo was originally supposed to be April 13, but inclement weather over the weekend forced the appearance to be postponed.

The new date to meet Bluey and Bingo has been set for April 28. As part of the event, fans can meet and take a picture with Bingo and Bluey, two characters from the hit show Bluey. The characters will be in the Estrella Jalisco Cantina on the left-field side of Chukchansi Park and be available for 30-minute blocks starting at 12:00 p.m.

Gates open for the event at 11:50 a.m. for Season Ticket Holders and 12:05 p.m. for all other fans.

According to the Fresno Grizzlies, April 28 is also the date for the “Bark in the Park” event, which will still take place as planned. Fans will still be able to purchase tickets for themselves and their dog – but dogs in attendance on April 28 will not be able to take pictures with Bluey and Bingo, according to management.

Tickets can be purchased at FresnoGrizzlies.com – and those with tickets for the original “Meet Bluey and Bingo” event that was postponed on April 13 and April 14 can have their tickets exchanged for any game during the 2024 regular season (excluding July 4) by visiting the Chukchansi Park ticket office, emailing members@fresnogrizzlies.com or call (559) 320-4487.
