In a recent appearance on "CBS Sunday Morning," Cox commemorated the 20th anniversary of the iconic sitcom "Friends" finale, where she disclosed that her late co-star on the show, Matthew Perry, still "visits" her.

The actress, who starred in the hit show as Monica Geller, acted alongside Perry, who played Chandler Bing, for ten seasons, with their characters even ending up together.

"I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. He's just so funny," Cox said of Perry, per the New York Post. "He is genuinely a huge heart. Struggled."

She went on, "I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot if we believe in that."

Elsewhere on the show, Cox was asked to weigh in on her spirituality after claiming that the late Perry "guides" her, per the New York Post.

"I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that, I think, guide us," she shared. "I do sense — I sense Matthew's around for sure."

Perry passed away at age 54 in October after he was found face down in the Jacuzzi adjoining the pool at his Pacific Palisades, Calif. Home on October 28, following years of drug and substance abuse.

The late actor's autopsy report, released by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, revealed that he tragically succumbed to an equal measure of Ketamine as a hospital patient under general anesthetic, with his death resulting from the "acute effects of Ketamine" and drowning.

"The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner determined the cause of death for 54-year-old actor Matthew Langford Perry as the acute effects of ketamine," the Los Angeles coroner's office revealed.

They went on, "Contributing factors in Mr Perry's death include drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opioid use disorder). The manner of death is an accident."

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," the statement to People magazine read. "There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

Her recent statement about Perry comes after Cox's recent admission of her motherhood regrets, in which she wished she'd done things differently.

According to Page Six, she appeared on the "Minnie Questions" podcast in April, where she opened up about her regrets about not being a "firmer parent" to her daughter, Coco Arquette, whom she shares with her ex-husband, David Arquette.

"I didn't want to step in even though I knew something wasn't right because she would get so mad at me," Cox shared, referencing her inability to protect Coco from certain situations and relationships.

She continued, "I did understand, and I should've trusted myself, and I should've stepped in. I'm not saying I made her who she is, but you do see things in other people, whether it's just always taking care of people and being the nicest person."

"And I mean, that's one of the things with age, I've learned to say no, I've learned to have boundaries. But I mean, earlier on, when she was a kid or not even that many years ago, I wish I'd been a firmer parent," she added.

Elsewhere on the "Minnie Questions" podcast, the "Scream" franchise actress shared that she was blindsided when her fiancé, Johnny McDaid, dumped her just one minute into a therapy session that was supposed to better their relationship, per the Daily Mail.

"Johnny and I broke up five years ago. So, three years in, we broke up, and it was really intense. We broke up in therapy," she shared.

"I didn't know it was coming. Whether I should have or not, it was just like we went to this therapist to talk about our boundaries - what we could and couldn't accept about each other," she continued.

"Instead, he just broke up within the first minute. And I was like, 'What?' And we were engaged. And I was so shocked, I was in so much pain, I also don't like surprises," Cox added.

She further noted that she was grateful to have had that experience, as it helped her realign her perspective.
