Country show set for May 4 at Boot City Opry

Apr. 25—The Boot City Opry will have a country concert at 7 p.m. May 4.

Ronnie McDowell, known for his songs such as "Older Women," "Watching the Girls Go By" and "The King is Gone," will be back at the Opry.

Between 1977 and 1990, McDowell recorded 27 Top 40 country singles on the Billboard Charts, according to a release from Boot City. He is also an artist, completing 38 paintings for the Disney Corp.
