Coco Austin Calls Her New Hairstyle ‘Da Coco Swoop’
Coco Austin has a new hair look for summer that she’s already predicting will be iconic. On Sunday, the actress and model, who’s married to Ice-T, with whom she recently had daughter Chanel, flaunted her new ’do while wearing a pink spaghetti-strap top, gray leggings, and hoop earrings. “My new braids! I wanted a little change up for the Summer,” she shared in the caption.

In the video, she twirls around and names her new hairstyle “Da Coco Swoop.”
While Austin gave the style a different name, it’s not new. The side-part cornrows that cascade down the side were popularized by Beyoncé in Lemonade, and many call the ’do “Beyoncé Lemonade Braids.”

Whether or not the 38-year-old’s hairstylist was inspired by Queen Bey, she did ask her followers what they thought of the look, and many of them left comments with words of admiration.
