Take a Closer Look at Gucci's Year of the Tiger Sneaker Collection

In honor of Lunar New Year, Gucci is releasing a full collection honoring the Year of the Tiger. Joining leather goods, ready-to-wear, handbags and watches are three tiger-themed sneakers.

The classic Gucci Ace sneaker sees a new tiger embroidery atop the fashion house's heritage green and red stripe. Italian leather makes up the shoe's upper with red leather covering the heel.

A second Ace silhouette comes decked out in Gucci monogram with light blue hits on the eyestay and tongue tag. "Gucci Tiger" text wraps the lateral panels with additional branding arriving in metallic gold on the shoe's heel.

The chunky Rhyton sneaker gets the tiger treatment with a "Gucci tiger" poised on the shoe's lateral side, spanning from the eyestay to the midsole.

All three models are available now at Gucci. The embroidered Ace sneaker is priced at $750 USD while the monogram Ace and Rhyton are $725 USD and $930 USD respectively. Look out for the full Year of the Tiger capsule to release February 1.
