Christina Hall Reveals 'Lingering' Infection Since She Was 16 In New Health Update

Christina Hall finds herself grappling with dental woes as complications stemming from a root canal procedure resurface, tracing back to an old teenage injury. 

Despite her previous health battles, the HGTV sensation is using this latest distressing experience as a platform to share a cautionary tale with her followers.

Christina Hall Gets Candid About Ongoing Root Canal Issue

The "Christina on the Coast" star is not just transforming homes; she is also transforming health awareness among her fans. It all began four years ago when Hall underwent a root canal after a tooth injury at the age of 16.

However, what seemed like a routine dental procedure took a daunting turn when the infection returned, unknown to her, years later.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Hall candidly recounted her dental ordeal and urged her audience to prioritize their dental health. 

"Just a quick PSA I think is important to share. When I was 16 I had a tooth injury to a back molar and had to have an emergency root canal," she revealed.

"In 2020 my dentist saw via xray the previous root canal showed signs of being infected. So I went and had it redone," Hall continued. Despite the absence of symptoms, the infection persisted, prompting her to take action.

"Pretty disturbing. I'm taking care of it next week via explant... but leaving an infection that long can cause all kinds of complications," the reality TV star expressed. 

Hall further noted the importance of regular dental check-ups, emphasizing, "With no root, you can't feel if there's a problem."

Moreover, she also mentioned that her experience also led her to dig into the concerning realm of old root canal issues, with the influence of technology.

Halls Tumultuous Health Journey Includes Botched Cosmetic Procedures

The TV personality has consistently shared her health journey candidly.

Her most recent health challenge followed a headline-making event in 2022 when she became part of the increasing roster of individuals whose beauty procedures did not go as planned. 

The haunting selfie shared on her Instagram story, captured the mother-of-three's puffed-up face, a very obvious contrast to her usually radiant look. 

Hall admitted the gravity of the situation in the caption alongside the image: "I know. It's a scary photo. In April, I had a reaction to under-eye filler. Super swollen, and it wouldn't go down with time."

Despite the grim snap, there emerged a silver lining as seen in the subsequent photo. The less terrifying snap displayed red cheeks without swelling and dark circles underneath her eyes. 

Detailing her ordeal, Hall disclosed the harrowing aftermath of an under-eye filler reaction, a decision that left her dealing with persistent swelling.

With utmost transparency, Hall revealed many symptoms that plagued her, probably due to her breast implants. She listed it all from inflammation to Hashimoto's disease, Raynaud's syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained skin rashes, and joint and muscle pain.

While asking her female followers for their thoughts, she also noted that even with her "gluten-free" and "mostly dairy-free" lifestyle, she still tested positive for ANA.

Per The Blast, she shared a glimpse into a newfound struggle with mercury and lead poisoning, alongside a small intestine bacterial overgrowth.

The revelation shared on her Instagram story unfolded in Wem Care facility, where a device called "Quantum BioFeedback" unearthed "anything that is negatively affecting health by finding energetic imbalances in the body by responding to the body's electric reactivity patterns."  

Afterward, Hall shared the outcome of the test, stating, "My scan said I have mercury and lead poisoning." She pointed out that the cause might stem from her exposure to distressed properties during her house flipping before adding that she had "small intestine bacteria overgrowth."

The TV star's journey towards clarity did not end there. By January 2023, Hall offered her followers a health update after a traumatizing past year.

Armed with an "expensive, super extensive panel" designed to uncover toxins lurking within her system, Hall uncovered a startling revelation—her body harbored an "abnormal amount of gut bacteria," including parasites, alongside elevated levels of heavy metals.

Undeterred by the daunting prospect, Hall persevered and went on a cleanse even after being told that it would "get worse before it gets better."
