Applegate discussed her symptoms on her podcast, "MeSsy," co-hosted by Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

Christina Applegate is experiencing a "pretty bad" relapse of her multiple sclerosis , which she detailed on her new podcast with fellow MS sufferer Jamie-Lynn Sigler, MeSsy.

Applegate, who was diagnosed with MS in 2021, has been public with her battle with the neurological disease. During Tuesday's episode of the podcast, which centers the importance of being honest about how they're feeling, Applegate opened up about the debilitating pain she's been having, noting that her legs are "just done."

"I'm in relapse right now, pretty bad," Applegate explained. "I haven't slept for 24 hours because my eye is doing something weird, where every time I close my eye to go to sleep, my right eye starts to shift like this."

The Dead to Me actress also admitted that she hasn't showered in three weeks due to the constant, unrelenting pain she has been in and the poor circulation in her legs.

"My legs have never been this bad," she emphasized. "I don’t know what’s going on, like, no energy, legs are just done, like, can’t get circulation, I can’t get them to stop hurting,"

Applegate also revealed she's fallen into a deep depression with her relapse, exacerbated by her inability to do even minor things for herself.

After being diagnosed with MS, Applegate was connected to Sigler, who had been diagnosed in 2001, through mutual friend Lance Bass. They spent hours on the phone, which eventually led to MeSsy.

"We would talk on the phone for two hours, and we'd be laughing and crying, and we were like, 'This is helping us. Let's record this. Let's do it,'" Applegate told PEOPLE last month.

In January, Applegate made an appearance at the Primetime Emmys, on the arm of host Anthony Anderson, where she was greeted by a standing ovation. She was in better spirits then, joking with the audience, "You’re totally shaming me with [my] disability by standing up."
