Christie Brinkley Gets Dramatic in Fiery Red Dress With Exaggerated Sleeves for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch Party 2024
Christie Brinkley was a lady in red for the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party on Thursday in New York City. The supermodel hit the red carpet in a fiery-red gown with dramatic long sleeves and a thigh-high slit.
To complete her look, Brinkley styled her long blond tresses in a side-part done in an Old Hollywood wavy style. As for her makeup, the entrepreneur kept it simple with a light foundation alongside a hint of blush, a simple mascara look and a matte red lip.

She is featured in Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue this year. Her history with Sports Illustrated dates back to the beginning of her career as a supermodel in the 1970s. She first posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in 1975. Four years later, she appeared on three consecutive covers in 1979, 1980 and 1981. In total, Brinkley has made 11 different appearances in SI Swimsuit Issues.
Brinkley is currently working on a lifestyle and apparel brand called Twrhill. A joint venture with Xcel Brands Inc., Brinkley has also been named as an ambassador for the brand, and she will appear on their broadcast and streaming platforms.
