Cookbook author and model Chrissy Teigen is fresh off celebrating her 36th birthday—and she's looking stronger and fitter than ever: She posted two mirror selfies on Instagram that showed her wearing an embroidered knit crop top paired with high-waisted jeans. And of course, she's looking beyond fab. She may have intended to post two snaps to show off bangs that she had edited onto herself—but honestly, all I could look at was her totally toned abs!

"yooooo I cannot with these apps anymore lol app chrissy is so effortlessly cool," she captioned the pics.

Let's take some time to appreciate Chrissy's super fun ab moments, shall we? Here's Chrissy in a cutout dress in the Bahamas:

And how can we forget this fruit-forward costume?

And then there's this super cool bra top photo dump:

But how exactly did she get those abs? To get her core that fit (besides doing TikTok dances) Chrissy loves to take Simone De La Rue's classes, which are super high energy and dance-based. "Chrissy Teigen I've been with for three or four years," Simone told Business Insider. "We do more laughing than working out, to be honest. She's a hilarious person and I like having a giggle with her."

Beyond that, Chrissy also uses EMS (a.k.a electrical muscle stimulation). According to Scientific American, it's a technology that activates your muscles and makes them contract while you work out. Supposedly, it activates 90 percent of the body’s muscles in 20 minutes and simulates an hours-long workout.

But Chrissy is the first to admit it takes massive discipline to stay consistent with her workouts: “Sometimes I’ll go two months without working out and then my trainer will be like, ‘What the hell, get your ass back here!’ And then I go really hard,” she told People. "It’s all about balance. And yes, I definitely stray, I go crazy, but if I did that all the time I would be very unhappy, like physically sad and just feeling lazy and horrible.”

And in terms of her diet, Chrissy says that she no longer stresses out about food—or diet culture in general. "It's more important for me to enjoy things as they come. I put my mind and spirit over body. If it's going to make me happy and make me feel good, then I indulge in it," she told People. "I've spent too many years counting calories and scheduling way too many workouts and trying to figure out what my term for wellness was for myself. Now I know it's on the ground playing with my kids or going to a park or an aquarium."
