Childish Gambino to perform at Ball Arena this fall

DENVER (KDVR) — After a six-year hiatus, Donald Glover, known by his stage name Childish Gambino, is heading out on a massive global tour.

The rapper/singer announced on his Instagram on Monday that he will set out on “The New World Tour” this August. Glover will perform at Ball Arena on Sept. 13.

The tour announcement follows Glover’s recent release of “Atvista ( 3.15.20 reimagine versions)” which the rapper explained as the “finished version of 3.15.20, the album I put out four years ago.”

Glover is not only known for his music, but he has built quite a resume on TV and in film.

The actor has starred in movies like “Magic Mike XXL,” “The Martian” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

Glover also likes to work behind the camera. Tina Fey hired Glover to join the writing staff on the hit show “30 Rock.” From there, he starred in “Community” and then created, produced, directed and co-wrote “Atlanta.”

Under his moniker Childish Gambino, Glover has won five Grammy Awards and has had 12 nominations. This includes a Song of the Year and Record of the Year win for “This is America.”

The artist presale will happen on Wednesday, May 15. Those with American Express cards can also join this presale at 10 a.m. Fans can join the artist presale on the tour’s website.

Finally, general sale tickets will be available on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster.
