Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan might be happily moved on and engaged to other people but their divorce proceedings are still ongoing and just took a turn that could see both of them testify in court.

The former couple, who separated in 2018, are still not aligned over a financial settlement that includes profits from Tatum’s Magic Mike movie franchise. According to court documents obtained by People, Dewan submitted a “preliminary witness list” which included her and Tatum’s names, reportedly in the hopes of having to hash things out with her ex-husband in court.

Per the filing, Dewan, 43, wants her ex to “testify regarding all issues related to the parties’ marriage including business and financial activities.”

In return, attorneys for Tatum, 43, submitted a witness list that includes Dewan’s name as well as her now-fiancé, Steve Kazee. The document from Tatum’s legal team reportedly notes that Kazee “is expected to testify regarding his and Petitioner’s cohabitation, joint expenses and all related matters.”

Tatum and Dewan married in July 2009 and Dewan filed for divorce in October 2018. The couple share 10-year-old daughter Everly. Dewan and Kazee have been engaged since February 2020 and welcomed their son, Callum, the following month. In January 2024, the couple announced that they are expecting a second child together. Tatum and Zoë Kravitz started dating in 2021 and reportedly got engaged in October 2023.

According to the court documents, “key issues” for the trial are division of property, reimbursement claims, support, breach of fiduciary duty and attorneys’ fees. Dewan states that the “largest issue” is Magic Mike, intellectual property that Dewan claims they acquired together. According to Dewan, the “characterization and division” of the Magic Mike intellectual property “will impact the resolution of the other financial issues in this case” and should be divided first.

The She Made Them Do It star also claimed that Tatum refuses “to accept an equal division of the Magic Mike intellectual property” and accuses him of putting the earnings from the three-film franchise into “an irrevocable trust” and transferring licensing rights to a third party without telling her.

Tatum disputes her claims and documents from his side claim he “has expended extensive efforts since separation towards the enhancement of the Magic Mike intellectual property and related entities, which Respondent contends give rise to his separate property interest therein.”

Dewan has also called Tatum’s business manager to testify and submitted evidence including the couple’s joint tax returns filed before and after their separation.
