If you’re a celebrity, having your own alcohol brand is basically a rite of passage. A-listers such as George Clooney, with his ubiquitous Casamigos Tequila, to Diddy with his wildly popular Ciroc Vodka, have been using their star power to break into the luxury spirits industry for years now. And considering the money backing these ventures, it’s no surprise that most of them have seen impressive success.

Post Malone released his first wine in 2020, but his new rosé bottle called Maison No. 9, which hit shelves this past summer, has been the musician’s most popular blend. Named after Malone’s favorite tarot card (the nine of swords), the No. 9 is a mix of Grenache, Syra and Merlot with notes of pineapple, pear and strawberry.

Della Vite by Cara and Poppy Delevingne
Della Vite Prosecco, a joint venture between the Delevingne sisters, only recently made its U.S debut in 2021 after finding success in the U.K. The 100% vegan Prosecco is filtered using a crossflow filtration method that avoids the use of animal products. Like all their wines, the Prosecco Superiore is made only from handpicked grapes from their winery in Valdobbiadene for a rich and extra-dry texture, with notes of crostini and chamomile.

Hampton Water Rosé by Jon Bon Jovi
Jesse Bongiovi was smart to tap his very famous father, Jon Bon Jovi, in helping him found his wine company in 2017, which now sits on hundreds of shelves across the country (in addition to dozens of online retailers). The refreshing rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvédre, developed by Bon Jovi and renowned winemaker Gérard Bertrand in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.

Sun Goddess by Mary J. Blige
The Grammy-winning musician teamed up with hotelier and restaurateur Mario Fantinel to create Sun Goddess, created on the latter’s family vineyard in the north-east region of Italy. The Sauvignon Blanc has tropical and spicy notes of yellow bell pepper, banana and melon.

Sofia by Francis Ford Coppola
Francis Ford Coppola is known as one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and the Bay Area-based director has also found success as the head of his Napa-based winery since founding it in 2006. The Sofia, named after his daughter and fellow director Sofia Coppola, is one of the winery’s most popular sub-brands, offering lighter wines such as rosés, whites, and Riesling blends. If you’re feeling indulgent, though, you should also check out the winery’s limited edition tasting set made special for the Hollywood award season. The director, alongside his granddaughter Gia Coppola, curated the set, which includes one of the winery’s most popular wines, the Black Label Claret.
Dreaming Tree by Dave Matthews
Dave Matthews’ experience with wine dates back almost as far back as his love for music. The rock musician had his own winery in Virginia before settling down in California for Dreaming Tree Wines. This red blend from the Central Coast has a unique mix of berry flavors and caramel oak for a medium-bodied treat.

This tropical chardonnay from Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough has hints of pear, green apple and lychee, perfect for a warm day. The R&B singer’s foray into the wine world is already a smashing success. Avaline makes wines that you just know are going to be good from first glance.
