Carhartt WIP and Marni Deliver a Psychedelic Collaboration

Carhartt WIP and Marni have just revealed a glimpse of their upcoming colorful collaboration. The iconic workwear-focused brand has joined forces with the Italian fashion house to deliver a wide offering of '70s-esque garments that can stand their ground outdoors or hold their own on the dance floor.

Led by Marni creative director Francesco Risso's penchant for vibrant patterns and eye-catching hues, the collection is grounded in a rich color palette of deep greens, buttery yellows, bold reds and earthy browns. Speckled with a dizzying array of floral prints, otherwise utilitarian flap-pocket shirts and sturdy short-sleeved shirts with contrasting black detailing.

Elsewhere, color-blocked asymmetrical maxi skirts instantly evoke nostalgia with its subdued tones and modest length, while emerald green flare pants with Spongebob Squarepants-inspired flowers are well-suited for a disco. Other standouts include a deep bourbon leather jacket and knitted orange-and-black logo print sweaters. Meanwhile, Carhatt WIP's corduroy and canvas work shirts bear bright red collars for extra flair, whereas bucket hats and spacious tote bags provide fanciful accessories. Platform slip-ons round out the collaborative effort, continuing the launch's love of vivid designs.
