Cardi B announced that her new album might be named after golf legend Tiger Woods. Her first full album’s titled Invasion of Privacy and her mixtapes are Gangsta B***h Music, Vol. 1 and Gangsta B***h Music, Vol. 2, so using Woods’s name will be quite the departure for the rapper. However, she has her reasons.

"Everything that I'm working on right now is straight to my album, straight to my album," Cardi said during a recent Instagram Live session. "And I think I'm gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I'm gonna name my album, I think, Tiger Woods because remember when everybody was talking s*** on Tiger Woods and then he f***ing came and won that green jacket?"

Woods claimed victory at the 2019 Masters in April and accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Trump a month later. Prior to this recent comeback, Woods was suffering from a bruised public perception after it was revealed that he had countless affairs with dozens of women. Since the scandal, he’s struggled with injuries and an addiction to pain killers.

If Tiger Woods is on the way, it would follow Invasion of Privacy, which, according to Complex, continues to do well on the Billboard 200 charts. The album also earned her a Best Rap Album award at the 61st Grammys.
