While Cardi B is an absolute hair chameleon, it's not as common that we see her take on a non-dark shade. That isn't to say it doesn't happen quite regularly (like I said, chameleon), but she knows what she likes, and what she likes—for the most part—is a black or dark brown hue.

Thus, getting a major fashion color from Cardi still feels like a special treat—only partly because the shades are so often snack colored. From cotton candy pink to cherry cola red with a little lemon Starburst (I did just make that one up) thrown in for good measure, the rapper's looks could fill a grocery basket. And if you're more into salty snacks than sweet, she just threw in something for you, too.

On April 25, Cardi shared a new set of photos to her Instagram account. In the snaps, she lounges on an artsy pool table in a bikini and Balenciaga moto jacket, holding up her middle finger in one creative way after another. There's a lot going on, but the main focus is her hair: chopped into a lob with straight-across bangs, it's the exact color of Cheeto dust. A bold, artificial orange.

"Come on Bobbiana," commented a fan on the post. Others simply added fire emojis—though I personally would've gone for the cheetah or bright orange heart.

While it's not confirmed, I'm going to guess that the artist's wig (it has to be a wig, right?) is the work of her regular hairstylist and wigmaker, Mia Jackson, known on Instagram as @tokyostylez. She also gave Cardi bangs, alongside a bowl-cut pixie, in December 2023.

As for the rest of the Grammy winner's look, Cardi kept her makeup simple (as simple as she's known for, anyway) with some medium-heavy lipliner and a glossy pout. She's been wearing her nails short recently, and as of now they're shaped into a classic square French manicure.

You know what I'm about to say, right? This look is flamin' hot.
