This isn’t the first time Mendes has selected a pointed-toe shoe silhouette while promoting her latest film. On March 27, the actress walked the film’s green carpet in Miami Beach in a pair of sheer pointed-toe shoes, embracing the sheer trend that has quickly become a popular staple in fashion throughout 2024 thus far. Similar to the pumps Mendes sported on Tuesday, the sheer shoes were slightly hidden underneath the long train of her dress with only the front portion of the silhouette visible, which indicates this is a style the “Riverdale” star has been in the mood for as of late. In September 2023, the “Do Revenge” actress took the look to the next level, covering her footwear completely while in Venice for the 2023 Venice Film Festival.

About the shoes

Mendes’ shoes featured a gleaming model alongside a sharp, pointed-toe design. In recent months, the actress has preferred to cover the back of her shoes with her outfits, so the back could not be fully seen. However, since Mendes has previously been known to wear pump styles with a thin stiletto heel that ranges between 3 and 4 inches, it’s likely the heel height of the pair worn on Tuesday is around that same measurement. The model was completed in a polished dark red color.
